Following the manic preparation period of last Monday-Wednesday, it was nice to be able to finally relax and enjoy 4 days of duty on Ravensbourne’s stand at New Designers in London.
Thanks to everyone who came along to see the show, where I exhibited my major project in collaboration with Joy of Sound.
I was really proud of how we pulled together to make the show a reality, and also that our work was very different to the majority of other Universities/Colleges. Our course has never been focused too much on the shiny model that comes at the end of the project – but more on the process that we go through as designers.
It may sound strange to say, but I don’t think that this has been ingrained in us by Ravensbourne – but is more a mark of the great bunch of guys on our course, who I will miss being around on a daily basis.
